Lt. Hargin has been with the Sublimity Fire District for eleven years and a Lieutenant for six years.  Lt. Hargin started her fire/EMS career when she graduated the Chemeketa fire program in the spring of 2001.  She is an EMT Intermediate and works full time for Rural Metro Ambulance.  She has always had a passion for volunteering, though; at age 17 she joined Marion County Search and Rescue.  She has been there for 21 years and doesn’t plan on leaving any time soon.


Lt. Hargin has an Associate’s degree from Chemeketa Community College.  She has also been working towards her Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration.


Lt. Hargin owns a house with her boyfriend Jim and their German Shepherd.  She also has two step daughters.  They enjoy spending time together fishing, camping, hiking and traveling.
